Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 08:57, Thu 27 September 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 48 minutes later

There are recurring problems on Cabot Way bridge with potholes. Although the road has been resurfaced, new potholes have emerged again over the last few weeks which cannot be avoided (dangerous to swerve) and therefore could significantly damage vehicles.

  • (coming FROM the Portway) A large pothole has appeared or re-appeared just before where the gantry join is, where there has been regular repairs; inside lane, outer side, it is deep and approx 18 inches in circumference, caused a loud bang on my car suspension, is very hard to see in the dark a significant hazard.
