Electronic speed limit sign is not working.

Reported in the Illuminated Sign category anonymously at 08:57, Thu 11 October 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

The 30 mph speed limit warning sign, that detects cars travelling down Stoke Hill from Bristol town centre, is broken. It has stopped lighting up when cars speed down the hill. Cars are continuously speeding down Stoke Hill (BS9) as they drive past Druid Road. It is dangerous for pedestrians as well as cars slowing to turn into driveways, and emerging from driveways. Stoke Hill traffic is becoming increasingly busy and there are more incidents where cars are braking suddenly and using their horns. A Slow sign is also needed further up the hill to warn drivers to slow as they travel down.
