There are at least 3 blocked drains along this section of path. They have been uncovered from under a build up of mud, grass. leaves and plants

This and the other drains on the path have been blocked for some time. During that time debris has built up resulting in plantsand grass growing on the path. Roots have grown into the path damaging the surface. Not unblocking the drains will result in further build up and further damage to the path
