Car obstructing pavement
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 08:19, Sat 10 November 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later
This vehicle extends half way across the pavement on Trym Rd. It is located near No 17, adjacent to a disabled parking space on the road, has no MOT and has been untaxed for 14 years according to the GOV.UK website. Recently a blind friend badly hurt his shin against it and it's clearly an impediment to wheelchair users and buggies. It is unequivocally not parked completely off the road so does not comply with sorn requirements and it's only a question of time before a vulnerable person or child attending the nearby school is seriously hurt.

Despite receiving a message from the council claiming this problem has been closed it hasn't actually been fixed. I suspect they don't want to get involved or claim it isn't their responsibility. Similarly neither the police nor the DVLA seem to be interested. Such are the times we live in!

This website periodically emails to ask if this problem has been fixed yet, despite my confirmation each time that it hasn't, nothing has been done about it. It is conspicuously not fixed.

Once again the automated system asks me for an update and once again there is no change in the situation so the system continues to prove itself ineffective and disinterested. Perhaps one day human intervention might actually progress this, as opposed to the inert algorithms which have become like groundhog day!
