Dumping of excavated tarmac /road surfice
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 15:15, Fri 16 November 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1463356.
The bus stop installations on airport roads. Tarmac from works is being dumped in Western Drive leaving it very dangerous for accesses to Radiodetection. Down to 1 lane as other blocked by tarmac. On leaving Radiodetection you now round the bend on the wrong side into oncoming traffic. Very dangerous especially as night draws in earlier. No way you would avoid on coming traffic. How has this been allowed to happen . Accident waiting to happen

This is causing real issues, apart from being really dangerous, we have now had several near misses where cars lorries and vans have met right on the bend where the rubble is dumped, this morning ETM blocked the road whilst they were removing some of the rubble, so people were unable to get to work. It is only a matter of time before there is a nasty accident on this bend if the rubble is not removed.
