Lake in middle of new footway/cycleway
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 20:11, Wed 28 November 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1472767.
The new combined footway/cycleway installed adjacent to Callington Rd is not fit for purpose. It appears little consideration has been given to the surface water drainage of the widened route as in ponds at several points, particularly in the centre (see pic). I assume its on your remedial works list??

Excellent, I am glad someone has mentioned this. I have contacted ETM twice now and no response. Total shambles, shoddy job, mud all over the path and have to walk on the grass. GET THIS SORTED!

The old path was fine. You lot dug it up. Made a pigs ear of it and now it’s a lake! If you dont fix it I will raise it with my councillor.

Not sure what you did last time as there wasn't any visible work carried out, but the lake has returned. Smaller than before but I'm sure after the rain this weekend it will grow. It needs proper attention!!

The path is impassable this afternoon without going onto the mud! So I have emailed Chris Davies @ cllr.christopher.davies@bristol.gov.uk
I will also raise the fact this service is inept and fails to deliver on the service it is here to provide.
