The drain on the road outside 12 Claremont Avenue is totally blocked and causing localised flooding

Reported in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 17:38, Wed 5 December 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

The drain is so blocked that even after clearing the surface leaves there is no movement. The blockage causes a huge pool of water which flows over the road up to neighbouring houses doors. Wessex are unable to help because they say that the gully is a council issue and needs cleaning out. It is full of silt. After numerous complaints by neighbours and promises from the council that something will be done no-one has been to sort this out. This has been going on for at least a month when the the rainfall is high. Please do something as houses are at risk of flooding and people are frustrated and upset.
