15 inch pothole on road by the kerb near the communal entrance door to Flats 25 to 32 Corinthian Court, BS1 6FE (Postal address: Redcliff Mead Lane but actual address Somerset Street)

This pothole has been at the location for at least 4 years. It is not always visible as most of the time vehicles are parked over it. Nevertheless it is a very serious hazard when it is not. On Thursday 29th November, at about 18:45, I failed to see the pothole as I was walking down the pavement to get to my car and fell to the ground. I sprained my ankle and I had to be taken to A&E the following day as I could not walk and I have been off work since. Four years ago I sprained my ankle on the very same spot but luckily then the sprain was not too serious. I remember reporting the pothole to the council then.
