Pedestrian refuge island

Reported anonymously at 16:38, Thu 6 December 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

On Nov. 11th. I was one of 3 cars that hit a road refuge within 20 secs of each other. Low sun problems, but surely not a coincidence that three of us failed to spot a refuge. Local residents told me it happens 3 or 4 times a month. If a family had been crossing the road at that point, the car behind me would have wiped them out!! Police promised to send their report to the council, Bristol Post website, showed a video and pictures. Should this piece of road be looked into. Local councillor not prepared to speak to me!!!
