Updates

  • I’m a resident. This hole has grown since pictures were taken. Nearly every car is hitting the hole once dark. Loose chippings hitting residents cars. Very dangerous

  • At approximately 10.15 am on Sunday the 30th whilst traveling North, along Queens Road in Bishopsworth I struck this massive pothole, resulting in a burst tyre. So it is well and truly still there! and a lot bigger than when first reported 12 days ago.

  • Still there - it smashed our front nearside wheel last night, resulting in a flat tyre and wheel damage (and £100 excess which we will be claiming back from BCC)

  • The pothole is very dangerous and I had been warned about it by someone who has had £600 damage to their car by hitting it and damaging wheel & tyre. My husband has also seen a car stopped after hitting it, so probably damage is common. The pothole was reported on 18/12 and as danagerous and causing damage to vehicles, it should be a priority fix
