The Fir tree lane steps are becoming impassible due to overgrown leylandi hedges which obstruct the path. Nd block the street lights at night do it’s dangerous to walk

  • As you can see from the photos the problem has not been fixed or the tres re grow very fast! Please re open the case and deal with the issue. It’s pitch black at night as the trees block the lamp post light and soon you will have to duck to get under them. Please instruct the landowner to trim the trees.

  • Can you explain how no action is required when it’s clearly dangerous at night. In the current status the lighting is not adequate to navigate the steps in the dark. Can you confirm the inspection was carried out st night? I will be raiding this issue with the ward councillors.
