Tactile Paving Slabs slippery when wet
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 14:17, Thu 24 January 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1522440.
The slabs that designate the cycle lane from the pedestrian path are dangerously slippery when wet (not just frosty). Always causes even the more competent commuter to slip, and safer for cyclists to cross to the pedestrian side (where the slab lines are at right angles).
Not sure of their purpose, but they cause a hazard so surely are of more concern than any use. Can they be replaced/removed before someone falls off?
