Blocked drain that has not been dealt with for years
Reported in the Gully/Drainage category by Cllr Fabian Breckels at 17:42, Wed 30 January 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1528107.
My constituent Val Harris of 1 Cassey Bottom Lane and she was advised to contact me in the hope that I can help her get a blocked drain cleared. The drain is located outside my garage which is in a lane that runs parallel to Troopers Hill Road. The lane is also called Troopers Hill Road. The drain has been blocked for many years despite many phone calls from at least four people over that time. On Monday there was a problem with a sewage overflow in the lane which ran down and over the blocked drain. It then flowed down steps alongside her garden and the sewage then ran into her garden and also her neighbour's garden.

My name is Val Harris and when I inspected the drain yesterday it has still not been cleared and I have had no feedback or acknowledgement from Bristol City Council. Please get in touch to let me know when this blockage is likely to be cleared as it has been a problem for many years, as I am sure your records will confirm.
