Estate agent sign posted on BCC road sign

Reported in the Flyposting category anonymously at 17:02, Fri 1 February 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

CJ Hole has posted a FOR SALE sign at the corner of Downs Road and Falcondale Rd in Westbury for months. The property for sale seems to be there, on Downs Rd, but the sign should not be attached to a BCC road sign - it should be near the house/entrance. Unless the agent received permission from BCC to attach a FOR SALE sign to a Council-owned road sign, this looks like a case of "fly-posting".

Updates

  • The property is now SOLD and the sign remains. GET RID OF IT! Enough publicity.

  • There is another sign now.. it seems the property is for sale again. However, NO SIGNS should have ever been posted on this BCC road sign! Can't the Council remove this??? Someone from BCC could just drive around the city photographing signs, removing them and fining the bold estate agents. An easy day job, with potential to make money, since BCC could fine the agents!
