Loose manhole cover, extremeley noisey keeping everyone in my house awake at night.

  • 22.03.19 - this manhole cover is still loose and still causing a considerable disturbance, especially at night.

  • Paint marks appeared around the manhole cover but it's still not fixed so still keeping everyone awake as the noise is constant given it is a main A Road

  • Have been sent update saying 'fixed' Its definitely not been touched since they painted lines on it. Can hear the deafening bang, bang sound clearly with the windows closed.

  • Manhole cover is for sewers, have contacted Wessex directly, (Bristol Water redirected my call to them). They were unaware of the issue, have reported it to them and they will be up between Tuesday and Thursday to investigate and fix.

  • The good news is it will be fixed shortly, the bad news is they have to close one side of the road to fix both manhole covers, so will suspend the bus stop and put in temporary traffic lights....
