Various multiple problems in the location of open green space between Crossways Road leading to Paignton Square and Teignmouth Road leading to Paignton Square BS4

Reported in the Pavement Defect category by David Wood at 04:12, Fri 1 March 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

Footpath at the entrance leading to open green-space, from Teignmouth Road BS4 leading to Paignton Square from Salcombe Road, also other problems from Crossways Road leading to Paignton Square, a new housing development that was built in open green space, and completed just over approximately about one and a half years ago. The footpath next the black rubbish bin opposite a small green electrical substation, is dipped and when it rains water from the open green space, floods the footpath in this location, and you are unable to walk through the footpath at this location, without getting your feet wet. The black rubbish bin also at times gets quickly filled up with rubbish at this location, and rubbish has been dumped next too the black bin on the grass. In my opinion only the open green space/field in this location before houses were also built, was always prone to soak up the water/rainfall and had bad drainage and did not drainaway properly. Now i am witnessing when it rains, water comes off the open space/field and pours onto the footpath in front of the road alongside the new housing development, between Teignmouth Road leading to Paignton Square BS4. Also Crossways Road leading to Paignton Square BS4. Also the black rubbish bin as you come in/approach from Crossways Road leading to Paignton Square, is set to far back in the grass/mud, after it has been raining it is to muddy to walk through to put litter into. In my opinion only, the black rubbish bin should be relocated next to the tarmac footpath. Also some dog walkers are letting dogs poo and do not pick up the poo.
