Waste vehicle has crashed into lampost 002

Reported in the Street Light category anonymously at 10:42, Fri 22 March 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

A Bristol waste vehicle has crashed into lamppost 2 on Rudhall grove outside house number 1. The column is bent and the surrounding concrete and kerb is loose and broken up. A stone has been put in the crack by the base to keep it stable but it is a temporary fix. Caller has requested that it be moved closer to the house if possible as it is hard for big vehicles such as waste collection/emergency vehicles/delivery trucks to come down here and turn without hitting the lamppost as it Is near the kerb.

  • Report incorrectly has a status of fixed. Only half the lamppost is there! The part of the street is very dark at nighttime which makes it feel unsafe for vulnerable residents and increases the risk of crime.
