Unsatisfactory repairs to damaged railing on vale street
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 12:33, Thu 28 March 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1586887.
Caller has reported unsatisfactory repairs were undertaken to fix the cast iron railings that were broken during a crash. The replacement does not match the material or shape of the original railings. Also the ground around the replaced bollard is uneven and not completed to a high standard, also not matching the colour or quality of the ground around it.

This problem has not been fixed. We are still waiting for the original Victorian end bollard to replace the temporary one currently installed. We were told the original was being repaired But that was some time ago. Please can you provide an update.

Please can someone from the council remove the 2 red plastic barriers that were in place to protect the repairs to the railings on vale street. The work has been complete for sometime now but the barriers are still there and are obstructing the road.
