New Footpath/Pavement disappears
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category by Philip Morris at 15:24, Sun 14 April 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1603008.
I have a electric wheelchair Leaving the Creat Center I decided to 'drive' to the center on reaching Cumberland Road I found that the pavement narrows to nothing backing up and using the brand new crossing to the other side of the road (the last crossing) on the 'Metro bus route as it crosses the cut). I found the pavement ends in a few steep steps. As tis is a brand NEW roadway why was provision NOT made for wheelchairs ?

Still No impovement I would have tought that the Council could have fitted a sign to a street lamp stating pavement unsuitable for wheel chairs, Or steps ahead. But that may be far too easy for such minds.
