Stones are falling out of a 300 year old boundary?

Reported in the Retaining Wall category anonymously at 19:31, Mon 15 April 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

The old stone wall bordering onto Upper Conham Vale holds the garden bank retaining wall of 41 Poplar Road. It has never been maintained, and is in need of urgent repair before it collapses? It is safety risk for all users, and is the only access route to residants below. Please report the situation to the dangerous structures team.

  • Now the large sycamore tree are in leaf and still growing fast, there is more reason for the council to enforce remedial action before the old wall collapses? Please notify the Council yet again?

  • I understand that the wall belongs to 44 Poplar Road and is there responsibility, but is up to the council to enforce works to make the access safe for all users. In this case neither has happened. So please refer the case to the highways dept; and ask them to enforce works to make the wall safe?
