Open Reach damaged pavement at end of our path

Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 21:05, Thursday 18 April 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later

Reported the issue that open reach conducted work with out prior notice at the end of our door path. They conducted sub standard work for which when it was reported 2 months ago they have only come out and spreyed it with paint as per the new images. The open reach man hole cover is still sunk in to the pavement and the tar mac cover up from the parts of the path they dug up is breaking apart still meaning it is dangerous for anyone leaving/entering my property.

  • Pavement and access lid is still dangerous and not fixed and is totally un acceptable for the lack of urgency in resolving. This is now approaching 3 months of no action other than someone putting a white painted cross over it..

  • This issue has been reported since early February 2019 and all that has happened is some white paint has been spreyed on the floor. I have spoken to the council and they have simply said nothing they can do and that I need to raise a complaint with open reach.
