Growth obstructs view of traffic from city centre

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 10:18, Monday 29 April 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 47 minutes later

Because of road levels the view from ordinary cars turning right at roundabout to join outgoing traffic is obscured by growth that may not look high enough to do this but in fact is except immediately after cutting. It should never be allowed to grow more than a few inches high. My neighbour was involved in an a traffic accident here for this reason. A long-term problem.

  • I should have made clear that the problem is not so bad for cars in the left-hand lane joining the traffic leaving the city - it's worse in the right-hand lane because the level of the road appears to be lower. So please include the right-hand lane in your investigation.
