Bankside Development Coronation Road Frontage

I am a local resident to the Bankside development in BS3. I live a couple of doors down in one of the Grade-II listed Georgian houses. I have now owned this property since February 2018 and I have noticed that in that time nothing seems to have happened to the front of the Bankside building on Coronation Road and the state of the chipboard frontage has been continuously deteriorating. The lack of visible presence has also attracted a lot of graffiti on the property, including on the brand new stone as well as the chipboard. Unfortunately it has got to a point where a new development is having a negative affect on the surrounding area. I read online that 'The Coronation Road frontage reflects the colours and bay rhythms of the nearby late Georgian terraces'. I have to say that as it currently stands it certainly does not live up to this sentiment. I assumed that the work would be carried out over time but I haven't seen any activity on the site since phase two of the development was completed some months ago.
I got in touch with the developers of the site who have come back with the following:
I believe that the unit is currently awaiting technical approval from Bristol City Council Highways to provide a loading bay to the front of the unit which will service a convenience store. I don't think anyone anticipated that things would take this long and I'm sure the owner is keen to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible. Once this is resolved I believe the store will be occupied quite quickly.
Please could you update me on the current status of this technical approval?
