Whoever looked at this job Friday must have got lost or gone to the wrong place. The problem is worse than ever. The man hole cover is making a din every time a vehicle crosses it. Could a competent person please visit the site, wait for a whole second for a vehicle to cross the offending cover (on Linden Rd, opposite Howard road on way into town), and then finally fix the problem. It beggars belief it can take nearly 3 months to not fix a minor but very major problem for hundreds of local residents. It adds insult to injury for the council to post a response that suggests the problem is fixed. Please fix it NOW.
