Road works at the end of Wingfield Road.

The current roadworks at the end of Wingfield Road, bs3, are a hazard. Turning into the road is now a challenge given the pavement width and central island. Cars are using the widened pavements as off street parking. Road markings need moving as the central white line is now no longer central and puts drivers on one side of the road in a hazardous position. Nobody in our street was aware of what was going on, nobody seems to know why the pavements are so wide. Wingfield Road was already a race track for inconsiderate drivers, but this week when I saw a dumper truck driving at excessive speeds down our road then when faced with oncoming traffic continued to drive half on the pavement I was shocked. There are many small children who reside on this road, it was frightening to see this sort of driving.
I know I have probably addressed two matters above but I would be grateful for your response.
Many thanks Natalie
