Substandard repairs to the cycle path

I am concerned about the substandard repairs recently done to the cycle path to deal with the tree roots . The repairs are raised when compared to the original surface and are very bumpy when riding along the new surface. Has anyone done a quality check of the work before it was signed off / approved? This query is applicable to all the recent replacement surface work done between Morrisons, Clay Bottom, Upper Easton, Lawrence Hill and City Centre.
