Fly tipping and rubbish in empty lot spilling out onto pavement.
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 11:34, Mon 13 May 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 hour, 55 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1628118.
In the empty lot next to number 63, dumping of building waste and trash has resulted in this spot becoming a flytipping hotspot. Rubbish and debris, including broken glass, spills out underneath the inadequate fencing onto the pavement, causing obstructions, danger to public health and poor quality of environment for residents of Lower High Street. It obstructs access to the side of number 63 and I am concerned about the damage it may be causing to the property, as well as spotting rats in the rubbish heap.
The lot has been used as a dumping site since at least 2016, as can be seen via Google Streetview.
I have reported this TWICE already via the Bristol Council flytipping report forms, with no follow up or communication at all.

Marked as fixed, but it's not. The rubbish heap is still there.

STILL not sorted EIGHT MONTHS after reporting for the first time.
STILL a danger to public and environmental health.
STILL an absolute eyesore and nightmare to live with.
Bristol Council says it will fix flytipping within two days - this is a LIE.
