  • These pictures were taken today (Friday June 15th) at least two hours after the rain had stopped. The extent and depth of water has been higher on numerous occasions in recent weeks. Crossing the road and walking past the flooding can be very awkward. Parents with pushchairs and buggies are regular users - numerous care facilities for young children are located close by.

  • The grating is still full of mud and leaves, the drain itself probably needs a quick clear out. More rain forecast, so all the water will be covering the zebra crossing again.
