Building supply vehicles blocking the roads and access to locals homes.

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 09:50, Tue 14 May 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1629154.

Hi, I can understand the level of traffic will rise while the building works are carried out for Richeson Close but it is getting to a level where I have not been able to access my own house and often find vehicles parked all over the pavements and grass verges. I feel this is creating frustration for the local home owners and degrading the area which is normally quiet and safe for children. Can I ask Bristol council to assist the locals and monitor the traffic/parking levels as the Richeson building works continue?

  • Hi, This case is not resolved or fixed just by passing the message onto the departments who are responsible. Please leave the case open until the level of traffic becomes reasonable considering the buildings works being carried out and is monitored by the council daily. A fix would be that there is a person on site monitoring the traffic and ensuring people do not park in places that would obstruct traffic.
