An illegally-posted estate agent sign on a Council road sign

Reported in the Flyposting category anonymously at 17:49, Sunday 19 May 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later

Agents Goodman & Lilley are taking advantage of inaction by neighbours and the Council. They have attached a FOR SALE sign to a BCC road sign - on Falcondale Rd, BS9. Please get this removed. Public road signs are not meant for estate agent publicity!

Updates

  • Street sign/name plate damaged! The agent's sign seems to have damaged the BCC street name plate/sign, which is now on the ground. BCC: Make the agent pay to refit the sign!

  • The sign is still there, over a month later. And the BCC road sign is damaged.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Goodman & Lilley have at last removed their signs from this location, but they left the BCC road sign damaged. Can we make them pay the Council for repair?? It's only reasonable. They got free advertising at this intersection.

  • Did BCC make the agents pay to repair the street sign they damaged, btw?

    State changed to: Fixed
