New double yellows on Thurlow Road prevent all parking on resident street

Reported anonymously at 08:44, Thu 30 May 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

New Double Yellow are to be laid along both sides of Thurlow Road - a single track, access only street. This will prevent residents from parking in Thurlow Road all together. There has been no consultation, just a tow away sign put up yesterday. How is it supposed to help parking in the area, when we get moved to other streets? More sensible would be parking bays which incorporate the pavement, as BCC has implemented in other narrow lanes in the city. Please remove the yellow lines and discuss with us what is workable.
