Hedges obstructing pavement on Satchfield Crescent

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 21:15, Sunday 2 June 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

89 Satchfield Crescent Hedges and rose bushes have been encroaching across pavement for several months and are now almost blocking the pavement. It is only possible to walk on the edge of the pavement and there is no room for wheelchairs. It is dangerous for visually impaired people, especially with the rose stems sticking out. The hedges are still growing so this will only get worse.

  • Been well over a month since I reported this. Nothing has been done and the situation is worse as the hedge continues to grow. Multiple branches sticking right out at head height. Risk of injury because of this but also the risk of falling off the pavement. Our local councilor has also been trying to get this resolved but the council won't listen to him either.
