Pavement closure on South side of road, inadequate temporary footpath on North side
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 10:49, Thu 6 June 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later
The pavement has recently been closed on the South side of the road. The temporary footpath on the North/Spire Hospital side of the road has been there for many months and regularly blows over and/or gets waterlogged. This is now a dangerous situation for pedestrians and seems inaccessible to people with mobility needs, pushchairs etc.

This is URGENT. We do not want the matter to be placed "under investigation", it needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. There is now no footpath at all, on either side of this busy and dangerous road. Pedestrians now have no choice but to walk in the road.

No, it's not fixed. This 'enquiry' (in fact it is a request for action) should not be 'closed' as the footpaths are still closed. In fact, for pedestrians with mobility challenges, pushchairs, etc., the whole area is closed. To make matters worse, the scheduled (five weeks) closure of Grove Rd has overrun and is now entering its eighth week. We need proper action, BCC, not cynical attempts to fob off council tax paying pedestrians.
