Numerous piles of rubbish have appeared over the last two weeks, on Highridge Common BS13 8AB, in between Highridge Cottage and the illegal caravan parking site. There are items of broken furniture (sofa, armchair etc), building materials (planks of wood and waste), garden trimmings (looks like several hedges have been trimmed and dumped), and several plastic bags full of other waste. It covers an area about 100 feet long and is unsightly and could present a health hazard to children and adults using the Common. CCTV was used by BANES on Dundry Lane to prosecute offenders there, but the foremost priority is to get it cleared before the weekend when it's busier and before vermin is attracted, then make the offenders pay. Also caravans have been parking on the Common for two weeks now despite earlier reports, please ask them to leave immediately, or tow them. Many thanks for your help.
