Blindspot without convex mirror to warn motorists, cyclists and pedestarians of oncoming traffic.

Reported in the Road Signage category anonymously at 09:51, Saturday 8 June 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

At the corner of Greville Road, there is a blind spot both ways for motorists and cyclists primarily. I live in The Mews housing complex and turning into our driveway, I have had multiple near misses with cars speeding down Greville Road, and occasionally electric cars driving (which don't make much noise).

A mirror at the corner of the road is a cheap and reasonable solution to prevent any accidents for residents in The Mews and adjacent Windsor Place complexes, who have to turn into their driveway at the blind spot. As you are probably aware, there a many families with young children on the street, many who cycle with them on the back, such as myself. I have discussed this with my neighbours in The Mews who share my concern.

I'd be most grateful if this could be resolved.

Kind Regards,
