Gulley rapidly fills and overflows when it rains
Reported in the Gully/Drainage category by Dr Shapland at 12:21, Wed 12 June 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 18 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1657687.
This gulley is blocked somewhere beyond the drain as it gradually fills up when it rains then overflows. I have reported it many times in the last 20 years and the only response is for a gulley emptier to attend. They suck water out then pump water back in which fills the drain to the blockage beyond then leave thinking the job is done. It needs investigating properly.

Not fixed. No response from Council. I think it is totally blocked now as with last rain shower it overflowed immediately then remained full when the shower ceased.

Not hopeful it will ever be fixed. and there are other long term blocked gullies nearby. Council only waste council tax on pointless frivolous high visibility schemes such as Cumberland Basin redevelopment .

Seven months on and nothing done about it. Bristol City Council and the relevant officer team promising action are clearly useless.

Gulley emptied again 8 months after reporting problem again. No significant rain since but not optimistic. Bristol City are hopeless at dealing with this sort of problem which is totally their responsibility.
