The road is sinking for a 8M section at the bus stop at the junction of Ingleside rd and Dalkeith Avenue.

The road looks like it is subsiding causing the road to sink and the guttering to be pushed up by around 12 inches almost above the kerb. When buses pull in the front often scrapes the kerb due to the road level dropping. This has been getting worse for at least 12 months.

  • This issue has not been fixed. In fact the issue has got worse as the ground appears to have sunk even more over the last 2-3 weeks. Most buses scrape the kerb startling passengers each time one pulls in.

    Can you please explain why this fault has been closed when it clearly hasn’t

    I would like to add to thisese comments. Some tarmac was put over some of this part of the sunken road a few weeks which is entirely inadequate. As a user of this bus stop am sincerely hoping this is a temprary repair awaiting some permenant solution.
