Dangerous Pedestrian crossing. Half of the road is missing yellow lines so slow moving traffic is regularly blocking the pedestrian crossing.

As this large crossing only has yellow lines on one half of the road (heading away from Bristol up Whitehall Road), the traffic heading down towards Bristol are free to keep moving across the crossing. This is incredibly dangerous, as every time there is a green man/bicycle, there is usually slow moving traffic on the road unable to see that they are in fact, right in the middle of a pedestrian crossing. Pedestrians have to visibly make eye contact with drivers to ensure that they have been seen. This is en route to Whitehall Primary school, and I have seen two occasions where children have been ready to run across the road when there is a green man/bike, and their parents have had to hold them back. I use this crossing at least once a day, and every single day I see traffic going through the green pedestrian crossing (which is not their fault). I am deeply concerned that a person (most likely a child) is going to get hit at this crossing.
