Sunken pavement left unfinished after development
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 08:00, Tue 2 July 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1681289.
When the Green Oak Crescent development was built a pavement was laid in front of the houses but the tarmac sits below the curb and the curb is so low that cars accidentally park on the pavement. The path is too narrow so pedestrians are often unable to walk along the pavement and are at risk of trip hazards if they do. I would like to request this pavement is at a minimum resurfaced and raised to the correct height or better still the pavement is widened to improve it for pedestrians and slow speeding drivers by narrowing the road. I have spoken to the residents who agree this would be the preferred option and can put together a signed letter from the residents if you wish to have evidence of this.

Hi, this problem is worsening due to increased parking from vehicles relating to the Chocolate Factory Development. As the developers allocate money for local remediations could you consider raising and widening the pavement prior to residents moving in to the choc factory and increased problem from overflow traffic?
