Sunken pothole in middle of carriageway

Pothole in centre of road outside numbers 67/69 Grove Road. Open hole from subsidence reported and repaired some time back, but further subsidence has occurred and hole is forming. Suspect drain leakage or other defect beneath road. Please investigate root cause rather than patching up surface defect.

  • I notice now that the hole is not where the recent repair is, but right next to it, but it is IN A PREVIOUS REPAIR. It is clear that there is something wrong under the surface causing these three successive holes to form.

    Please address the ROOT CAUSE.
