Overgrown hedge obstructing footpath

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 13:30, Wednesday 3 July 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later

The hedge has overgrown over the footpath, restricting access and also obstructing the street sign. With cars parking here, as they often do, half on the pavement, it means that the right of way is blocked for pedestrians. This has been overgrown for some months and has been getting progressively worse.

  • I completely agree with the above and wish to endorse the complaint. It is proving immensely difficult to walk along that area of pavement due to the overgrown hedge combined with the parking of vehicles partially on the pavement.

  • I'm confused. What was the outcome here - an enforcement letter has been sent or no action is required? Either way a month later and the problem still exists, so I wouldn't mark this as 'fixed'.
