Overgrowth of shrubbery on Oatlans Avenue

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 15:27, Thu 4 July 2019

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

The shrubbery along the pavement of Oatlands Avenue is protruding through the fencing of Perry Court School, and in places the brambles are particularly dangerous. Especially if you may be blind as some of these are at head height. You also have overhanging branches of a number of trees hanging down over the pavement. This problem has been evident for at least two weeks if not more. If something could be done asap it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • It has now been 10 days since the report was posted , and more growth has appeared. The brambles are now almost covering the pavement and the trees in places, are now about four foot from the pavement itself . added to this the pavement along Great Hayles Road is now becoming overgrown as well.
