New connection to surface water sewer

Hi I would like to connect to your surface water sewers outside my property and I can’t see anything on your website that says I need to request a connection so I’m assuming I can just connect. Do you need anything for your records though? I have all the tools ready and can connect today without a problem but just thought I should check with you first. Am I missing the connection forms or something? My address is 93 lower Redland road BS66SW my mobile is 07534 740339.
