Metre long pot hole on road surface where it meets kurb on pedestrian crossing
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 19:56, Thu 18 July 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1701343.
Road surface missing where it meets the kurb on the pedestrian crossing outside space nk. I was pushing my pram across and it went into this dip stopping it sharply, jerking my 4 year old who was in the pram sharply and forcing the pram against my legs causing a large swelling on my shin and bruising and a scrape on the other leg. I was carrying my 8 Month old in the Sling and he got quite shaken too. I couldn’t then get the pram out of the dip so we were stuck in the road and I was in a lot of pain from the injury to my legs. Luckily we were opposite boots chemist so the pharmacist was able to check me over and diagnose bruising to the shin bone but nothing broken thankfully. I’d hate for this to happen to someone else or a wheel chair user.
