Drain outside no. 31 is blocked and water is not going down in drain, so it overflows when rain falls. it was looked at by bcc a few weeks ago and the engineer said that a builder had put concrete down it. he did remove debris and put water down it. however, he put a black cap on the end of a pipe down in the drain and since bcc attended, the water rises higher in the drain where as it used to drain away. could the cap over the pipe have blocked where the water used to drain away???? the drain is worse now than it was before bcc came a few weeks ago. water is sitting in the road and any very large puddles are taking hours to drain away. please treat this as an urgent case as it is making tyres wet as they are having to sit in deep puddles which don't drain away. knock on no. 31 if you need to move car.

Drain blocked - worse since bcc looked at it a few weeks ago (see report). engineer said a builder had put concrete down the drain and tried to clear it. he also put a large black cap over the end of a pipe lower down in the drain, which may have blocked where the water drained away. since bcc did this the water in the drain rises very high and is now over flowing as the water is only going down very slowly, taking hours to clear the gutter below the kerb. this could damage the car tyres, so please repair asap. thank you.
