The huge laurel hedge outside Auburn House on the corner of Clifton Down and Cecil Road is obstructing 2/3 of the pavement and worse still is obstructing view of traffic at this busy 4 way crossing (Obligatory stop) From the stop line on Cecil road it is impossible to see oncoming traffic . This is a serious traffic danger.

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

This hedge is outside the wall of Auburn House and unlike the neighbouring houses, it is blocking practically all the foot path, has almost completely engulfed the BRISTOL Council Street name sign and worst is dangerously obstructing visibility at this junction. Cars turning right out of Cecil road can not see what is coming from the stop line due to the hedge. Cars come fast along there having had to shoot out to get across ladies mike /bridge valley road.

  • Just like to add some photos to the previous report. Signage is covered and far too much of the pavement has been lost to these laurel bushes. The third photo shows how a neighbouring hedge has been kept in line with the gateposts and should be the target for the whole section of road.
