Many cyclists have reported that the cycle lane markings have faded but BCC aren't fixing them
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 08:48, Thu 1 August 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1715931.
There have been numerous requests that the cycle lane markings be refreshed as they have all but disappeared and cars drive in it on a frequent basis. Despite this, they have not been refreshed and all reports have been closed as "fixed". If they are not refreshed this time my next correspondence will be a formal complaint to BCC that you are deliberately failing in your statutory requirement to maintain the roads to the correct standard

The cycle lane markings have worn away because this is a single carriageway and the approach to and at traffic lights are being used as unofficial 2 lanes and this decreases the gap between kurb and central island so into the cycle lane they go. This should not be taking place as this is Ment to be 1 lane . Wanted signage and street furniture to make it clear.its only 1 lane through these lights.and then right lane for wessex ave after central ilamd.
