Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 18:42, Thu 8 August 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1725300.
Hedges running on parked car side are very overgrown making parking very difficult and resulting in scratches to cars.

Perhaps motorists should stay off the pavement!! The pavement is for pedestrians not anti-social, ignorant motorists to leave their property on, causing an obstruction and damaging the pavements.

This is designated parking, not a walkway. The issue remains, the hedges need trimming by the council. There's no other parking on this stretch on Albert Parade.

Can you tell me, what qualifies it as designated parking. Looking at street view it looks like a footpath but with motorists who abandoned their cars on it.
I’ll gladly stand corrected should the facts prevail

There's no double yellows and nowhere else to park. If you're only looking at Street View you've obviously never experienced the street for yourself so worth taking a little stroll to see the situation.

There’s nothing that qualifies it as parking spaces, then. Driving on to the pavement is illegal and obstructs for pedestrians especially disabled people and parents with pushchairs. Completely obstructing the pavement forces them in to the road. Pavements are for pedestrians not motorists to leave their private property. Have some consideration and park somewhere else
