The road has collapsed due to the size and frequency of 'work' trucks using Silbury Road. The collapse has been repaired (tarmac put in the hole) at least 4 times, and still the road is sinking. This is on the road from the end of Avebury Road, to the junction with Ashton Drive. Also at the junction to Ashton Drive, the 'sinking' was repaired a few years ago, but now is sinking again. The repair needs to be done properly, not just a fill in, there is a proposal for double decker buses to use the road, but the road is not man enough for the weight. If a bike rider hit the collapse and the wrong point, there would be an accident. Needs looking at urgently.
