Bistro tables blocking pavement outside local pub
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 14:52, Tue 27 August 2019
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1745957.
The Council widened the pavement outside the Merchants Arms Pub when making alterations to the footpaths and roundabout for, I assume, safety reasons. I hve just noticed that two bistro tables and chairs have been placed outside the pub on the pavement which causes obstruction for anyone. with a pram our buggy. navigating around the corner into Charles Place and means all pedestrians have to walk closer to the busy road. Also in Charles Place a drop-down seat is fixed to the pub wall which is also osbructing the pavement for pedestrians.
